  Double check your policy statements every month and especially the one right after you start your policy. Double check ALL the information you give her including what the vehicle is for, how far you drive, amount, and compare it to the statement. In my experience they added things I told them not to so that I would pay a higher premium. I specifically told them how little I drive and they put me in a category of over 7500 miles a year. When I came back to address that, 3 months later, I was told by Bill Thompson, "There's no way to prove that conversation existed." Call me crazy but our (people that pay insurance) job is to do what it takes to pay the least in premiums we can, especially in this economy where we need to save money as much as possible. Your (local insurance rep) job is to help US get the best rate possible WITHOUT forcing us to incriminate ourselves to the corporation. It's companies like this that make it hard for people like me to stay away from the corporate world as much as possible. Now I'm forced to revert to online ways to insure my vehicle but at least they won't invade my privacy by asking much too personal of questions for an insurance policy. At one point I felt I was forced to write a letter to them stating that what they were asking was none of their business. That letter is what came to the end of my policy with State Farm with Bill accusingly stated, and I quote, "You need an attitude adjustment boy, it's time you take your business on elsewhere." Let me get this straight... You're on the borderline of violating my privacy and you raise my monthly rate because I stood up against my right to any privacy, and because I stood up against your bullying tactics, I need an attitude adjustment? I can tell you one thing, I will be taking my business elsewhere you can count on that!
